Children & Teens
I specialize in working with children and adolescents who are:
-
Experiencing anxiety, worry, or stress
-
Struggling with perfectionism or self-confidence
-
Having difficulty with emotional regulation
-
Navigating ADHD-related challenges with attention, organization, or frustration
-
Experiencing sensory sensitivities
-
Working through social challenges or changes in relationships
-
Adjusting to transitions or stressful life events
Many of the children I work with are deeply thoughtful and engaged with the world around them. They may ask complex questions, notice details others miss, or hold themselves to high standards. Therapy provides a space where they can better understand themselves, develop practical coping skills, and learn strategies to navigate challenges with greater confidence.
My Approach
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps children and teens understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Together, we work on:
-
Identifying patterns that contribute to anxiety or stress
-
Developing effective coping strategies
-
Building emotional regulation skills
-
Increasing confidence and self-awareness
-
Strengthening problem-solving skills
-
Improving communication and relationships
While therapy provides children and teens with a space of their own, I also believe that parent involvement is an important part of meaningful change. I work with parents to better understand their child’s temperament, learn practical strategies, and support progress outside of therapy.

Getting Started
If you are wondering whether therapy might be a good fit for your child or teen, I offer a brief consultation where we can discuss what is happening and explore how I may be able to help.
